A lesson from snow…

As I sit in my home office and look at the 20+ inch blanket of snow, I can’t help but compare it to how our lives in Christ should be.

I told my son to turn off the light in his room and to open the shades and let the sun shine in. He walked into my home office and said, wow, that’s bright! referring to the light reflecting off of the snow into the room.

That got me thinking about our lives. Isaiah 1:18 reads, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; ….” When we come to know Christ as Savior, our sins are forgiven, and just as the sun reflects off of the blanket of snow on the earth, the Son of God should reflect off of our lives so people see Jesus in us.

Do people see God shining through your life?
